• The Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification is based on the LDAC™ HD transmission protocol, and the LDAC™ protocol is mandatory for the playback device. LDAC™ and LDAC logo are trademarks of Sony Corporation.
• The earbuds feature maximum noise cancellation performance of 42 dB. Data comes from Huawei labs. Test models were designed based on human hearing. The actual noise cancellation effects will vary depending on such factors as ear size, ear tip size, ear canal structure, wearing position, and whether the user is chewing or moving.
• Battery life data comes from Huawei lab tests. The earbuds can support 28 hours of battery life at a medium volume level when playing audio in AAC format, with ANC disabled. Actual battery life will vary depending on the volume level, audio source, environmental interference, enabled features, and usage habits.
• This product is not a professional waterproof device, but is splash resistant during normal use. It has been tested to reach the IP54 level in a lab under controlled conditions. The splash resistance is not permanent, and the protection may decrease with daily wear and tear. IP54 is only applicable for earbuds, not for Charging case.
• HUAWEI FreeBuds 5i is 11% lighter than HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i. Data comes from Huawei labs.
• The LDAC™ transmission protocol needs to be enabled on the playback device connected to the HUAWEI FreeBuds 5i. Enabling LDAC™ can improve audio quality, while possibly affecting the battery life and causing freezes, depending on the operating environment.
• Noise cancellation may reduce your ability to perceive alarms and alerts in your environment. Please make sure that the ambient environment is safe before enabling this feature.
• The proximity pairing prompt feature is only supported on Huawei devices running system later than EMUI10.
• Requires that Low-latency mode is enabled in AI Life. Actual latency may vary depending on such factors as the phone model, system version, game, and game version.
• This feature is only available on Huawei phones or tablets running EMUI 12 or later, and is not supported in third-party camera apps.
• Fast charging data comes from Huawei labs. Fast charging will only take effect when the battery level of the earbuds is low. The earbuds can provide 4 hours of battery life at a medium volume level when playing audio in AAC format, with ANC disabled, after being charged for 15 minutes by a charging case with a battery level of over 80% or with a cable. Actual battery life will vary depending on the volume level, audio source, environmental interference, enabled features, and usage habits.

• Find My Earphones is only supported on Huawei smart devices running EMUI 11.0 or later. To use the Find My Earphones feature, you’ll need to log in to your HUAWEI ID and enable the feature, and then confirm that your earbuds have been previously connected to your phone over Bluetooth. According to Huawei lab data, your earbuds should be no more than 20 meters away from your phone, and the two devices will need to be in a quiet environment free of major obstacles, with the earphones connected to your phone over Bluetooth.
