Ofitech OA760MI Micro Cut Paper Shredder with Pull-Out Bin

Standard strip-cut shredders leave printed text partially readable, making sensitive financial files, bank statements, and client records vulnerable. The Ofitech OA760MI solves this by reducing sheets into tiny micro-cut particles that are virtually impossible to reassemble.

Designed for medium-duty home offices and administrative desks, this machine balances shredding precision with quiet operation. The dedicated waste bin and auto-sensing throat prevent paper jams while keeping personal or corporate data strictly confidential.

Key Features of Ofitech OA760MI

• Micro-Cut Security: Slices documents into minute confetti-sized pieces, ensuring unrecoverable data destruction for confidential paperwork.
• Multi-Sheet Capacity: Feeds up to 6 to 8 sheets per pass to clear daily office document backlogs efficiently.
• Reverse Function: Manual and auto-reverse controls quickly back out overloaded pages to clear throat jams without tearing paper inside the blades.
• Dedicated Media Slot: Safely destroys plastic ID cards, credit cards, and staples without blunting the main cutter blades.
• Pull-Out Waste Bin: Features a front viewing window so you can monitor fill levels and empty paper dust without lifting heavy motor heads.
• Thermal Overload Protection: Automatically pauses operation when continuous shredding exceeds duty cycles to protect internal components.

Why Choose This Ofitech Micro-Cut Shredder

Compared to typical cross-cut machines that produce larger paper ribbons, the OA760MI's micro-cut mechanism compresses waste volume significantly. You empty the bin far less frequently because dense particles pack down flat rather than bunching up with air pockets.

The trade-off is duty cycle and per-pass speed. Micro-cut blades require more motor torque, meaning this unit is optimized for steady batch runs rather than nonstop bulk archive purging. For regular office desks processing payroll slips and client files, the security level vastly outweighs the slightly slower pass rate.

Best Use Cases

• Small business accounts and HR desks handling payroll and identity forms.
• Home offices disposing of utility bills, tax documents, and expired cards.
• Legal and consultancy workstations requiring strict client document disposal.
• Corporate reception desks managing visitor logs and print errors.
