Onten OTN-UCD22 Portable External DVD Writer USB 3.0

Many modern laptops and desktops no longer have a disc drive. The Onten OTN-UCD22 external DVD writer brings it back through a single USB connection. You can read and write DVDs and CDs without opening your computer or installing extra hardware.

It uses USB 3.0 with speeds up to 5 Gbps and has a built-in dual cable with both Type-C and Type-A plugs. It plugs straight into most laptops and PCs. If you are looking for a portable DVD writer for backups, old software discs, or movie and music collections, this drive handles it in a slim body.

It also works with Windows XP through Windows 11, macOS, and Linux, so one drive can serve a mixed setup at home, in the office, or at a shop.

Key Features

• DVD and CD read and write support: Plays and burns both disc formats, so you can open old discs and create new backups with one drive.

• USB 3.0, up to 5 Gbps: The fast interface speeds up data transfer between the drive and your computer, and it stays compatible with USB-A and USB-C ports.

• Built-in dual cable (Type-C + Type-A): There is no separate cable to lose, and you can connect to newer and older computers alike.

• Wide operating system support: Works with Windows XP/7/8/10/11, macOS, and Linux, so you are not tied to one platform.

• Two USB-A ports, SD and TF (microSD) card slots: Extra ports and card slots add convenience for everyday file handling.

• Slim, portable body (154.72 × 143.8 × 19.2 mm): Easy to carry in a laptop bag or keep in a drawer.

• 2-year replacement warranty: Gives you coverage and peace of mind after purchase.
