Power Print DR-B028 Drum Unit for Brother Printers

Faded lines, black streaks, and repetitive spots on your documents often mean your printer drum is worn out, even if your toner cartridge is completely full. The Power Print DR-B028 Replacement Drum Unit restores sharp text rendering and consistent background cleanliness to compatible Brother laser printers without the cost of an OEM unit.

Built as a dedicated imaging cylinder, it transfers toner powder smoothly onto each sheet. Installing a fresh drum unit prevents unnecessary toner waste and maintains crisp outputs across long, multi-page print runs.

Key Features of DR-B028 Drum Unit

• High Yield Output: Delivers up to 12,000 pages at standard 5% coverage for extended office printing.
• Clean Image Transfer: High-grade OPC drum core prevents toner scattering and reduces vertical lines.
• Exact Fit Housing: Matches Brother printer chassis dimensions for smooth insertion and secure latching.
• Toner Separation Design: Works independently of the toner cartridge, letting you swap out only the imaging unit when needed.
• Consistent Dark Prints: Maintains uniform electrical charge distribution to keep text sharp from the first page to the last.

Why Choose This DR-B028 Drum Unit

Laser printer drums naturally degrade over time from physical roller friction and electrostatic wear. While continuing to use an exhausted drum might seem cost-effective, it frequently results in background graying, ghosting, and wasted paper. The Power Print DR-B028 offers a practical balance between cost savings and reliable output quality, making everyday documentation clear without paying top-tier branded drum prices.

It is important to remember that this unit holds no toner powder on its own. If your printer displays low toner warnings rather than a drum replacement alert, changing this drum will not resolve that issue. However, for recurring print defects and high-count maintenance resets, this unit acts as a direct, trouble-free fix.

Best Use Cases

• Daily invoicing and administrative document printing in busy offices.
• High-volume monochrome reports and contracts needing clean margins.
• Replacing worn-out imaging units showing permanent streaks or spots.
• Small commercial copy centers needing predictable per-page costs.
