Sony PXW-Z200 4K XDCAM Camcorder with 20x Optical Zoom

The Sony PXW-Z200 is a 4K XDCAM camcorder built around a 1.0-type Exmor RS CMOS sensor and a 20x zoom lens. It is made for shooters who want sharp footage, fast focusing and a wide framing range without swapping lenses.

The 24-480mm equivalent lens covers wide scenes and distant subjects, so you can shoot events, interviews, documentaries and live coverage with one camera. If you are comparing a Sony camcorder for serious video work, the PXW-Z200 is a capable all-in-one option.

Key Features

• 1.0-type Exmor RS CMOS sensor (approx. 14.0 MP effective): The larger sensor captures more light, which helps with detail and low-light footage.
• 20x zoom lens (7.71-154.21mm, 24-480mm equivalent, F2.8-F4.5): One lens covers wide shots and distant subjects, so you can change framing quickly during a shoot.
• Fast Hybrid AF with up to 475 points: Phase-detection and contrast-detection autofocus work together to keep moving subjects sharp. You can also adjust subject shift sensitivity and transition speed.
• Lens-shift and electronic image stabilization (Active / Standard / Off): Stabilization reduces camera shake and gives you smoother footage when you are not on a tripod.
• ISO 250-16000 and white balance 2000 K-15000 K: The wide ranges let you adapt to dim venues, daylight and mixed lighting.
• Electronic shutter (1/8000 sec to 64F): You get control over motion and exposure in many lighting situations.
• 3.5-type TFT LCD (2,764,800 dots) and 0.39-type XGA OLED viewfinder: You can check focus and framing on the monitor or through the eyepiece in bright light. The viewfinder has -4.0 to +3.0 m-1 dioptre correction.
• HDMI output, stereo microphone, 3.5 mm headphone jack and Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac): You can monitor audio, connect an external display and use wireless features from one body.

Why Choose the Sony PXW-Z200 4K Camcorder
