CMX CLSK-20C Column Speaker with 70V/100V Transformer

Indoor and sheltered commercial spaces often struggle with reverberation and muffled voice announcements when using standard ceiling or cabinet speakers. The CMX CLSK-20C column speaker directs sound horizontally across long halls and corridors, keeping speech intelligible while minimizing upward reflections off ceilings.

Built with an aluminum enclosure and dual cone driver arrangement, this unit integrates cleanly into 70V and 100V commercial public address networks. It delivers balanced background audio and emergency paging across educational, religious, and institutional installations without requiring high amplifier headroom.

Key Features of CMX CLSK-20C

• Built-in 100V/70V Transformer: Matches long-distance commercial audio runs, letting you connect multiple speakers across vast sites without line-loss issues.

• 20W Power Output: Provides ample acoustic volume for mid-sized rooms, conference setups, and busy school corridors.

• Extruded Aluminum Enclosure: Resists physical wear and minor environmental elements while maintaining an unobtrusive profile against walls.

• Narrow Vertical Dispersion: Focuses acoustic energy directly at ear level, significantly reducing echo in tiled or high-ceiling halls.

• Flexible Mounting Bracket: Allows easy tilt and swivel adjustments to orient direct coverage toward seating or walkways.

Why Choose This CMX Column Speaker

The CMX CLSK-20C is strictly tuned for commercial public address, voice paging, and light background music. It does not reproduce deep, cinematic sub-bass, making it unsuitable for standalone high-energy music venues or home theaters. However, for continuous commercial speech reproduction, its controlled vertical dispersion outperforms standard box enclosures.

The aluminum body ensures structural longevity compared to cheap plastic units, especially in public spaces prone to frequent dust and temperature changes. While running commercial 70V/100V systems requires dedicated PA amplifiers rather than domestic receivers, the system setup simplifies wiring multiple units in parallel over long runs.

Best Use Cases

• Mosques, prayer rooms, and auditoriums requiring clear vocal projection.

• School corridors, lecture halls, and administrative offices.

• Railway platforms, waiting areas, and airport lobbies.

• Shopping malls and commercial retail arcades for voice paging.
