Managing board meetings or formal discussions often becomes chaotic when multiple participants speak simultaneously. The CMX CS-701 Chairman Unit resolves this issue by giving the meeting leader dedicated speech priority control over delegate microphones, ensuring structured, audible proceedings.
Equipped with a sensitive gooseneck microphone and built-in acoustic protection, the unit captures clear, intelligible voice audio while suppressing acoustic feedback and mobile phone interference during critical presentations.
Key Features of the CMX CS-701 Chairman Microphone
Chairman Priority Button: Allows the chairperson to mute or override active delegate units instantly to restore meeting order.
Cardioid Condenser Microphone: Directional pickup pattern focuses on the speaker's voice while minimizing background room noise.
Flexible Gooseneck Stem: Adjustable design allows speakers to position the capsule at an optimal speaking angle.
Ring LED Indicator: Illuminated red ring clearly shows when the microphone is live and active.
Hand-in-Hand Daisy Chain Connection: Simplifies cable routing across conference tables with direct link connectors.
Built-in Feedback Suppression: Helps maintain natural audio reproduction without painful squeals or distortion.
Why Choose This CMX Conference Unit
The CS-701 prioritizes functional reliability over unnecessary digital touchscreens. Its tactile push buttons provide instant physical feedback, allowing the moderator to manage the floor without looking down to operate software menus during important sessions.
As an analog-style wired unit, it requires a compatible CMX master controller to function, which means it cannot be operated standalone into a standard mixer without the matching conference bridge. However, this wired infrastructure guarantees zero wireless interference and rock-solid audio stability.

Corporate boardrooms and executive conference rooms.
