Yumite YT-405 Cash Drawer with RJ11 Printer Interface

Managing busy checkout counters requires fast, dependable cash handling without jammed trays or misplaced notes. The Yumite YT-405 provides heavy-duty security for everyday retail environments, keeping currency organized and protected during peak business hours.

Constructed with cold-rolled steel and smooth ball-bearing rollers, this drawer opens automatically via receipt printer triggers or manually with a secure three-position physical key lock.

Key Features of Yumite YT-405 Cash Drawer

• RJ11 POS Interface: Connects directly to standard thermal receipt printers to pop open automatically upon printing a bill.

• Adjustable Bill and Coin Dividers: Customize compartment sizes to fit different denominations of Bangladeshi Taka notes and coins neatly.

• Heavy-Duty Steel Construction: Thick-gauge cold-rolled metal casing resists forced entry and endures high-volume daily impacts.

• 3-Position Key Lock: Switch easily between manual open, electrically locked, and automated drawer release modes.

• Media Slot on Front: Slip large bills, checks, and card receipts directly under the tray without opening the drawer.

• Durable Roller Suspension: Engineered for smooth, reliable sliding cycles over years of continuous checkout operations.

Why Choose the Yumite YT-405 Cash Drawer

Countertop footprint and long-term durability are critical trade-offs when selecting POS hardware. The YT-405 offers a standard 405mm width, which takes up moderate counter space but rewards you with spacious note compartments that prevent bills from folding or jamming under spring clips.

While lighter plastic alternatives cost less upfront, their mechanical runners tend to fail under high transaction loads. The YT-405 balances cost and rugged mechanical parts, giving small to mid-sized shop owners dependable cash security without enterprise-level hardware expenses.

Best Use Cases

• Grocery stores and supershops managing high cash volume.

• Pharmacies and retail dispensaries requiring organized change compartments.

• Restaurants and fast-food counters integrated with thermal POS printers.

• Clothing boutiques and lifestyle outlets needing a secure checkout desk.
